This traditional house needed extensive renovation and two rear extensions to make its interior meet the functions of a modern dwelling. The client wanted a ‘tower’ with a new staircase linked to a new entrance. After many design discussions the idea of incorporating a circular staircase within the entrance tower became a defining feature of the refurbishment adding allure to interior space.
