This listed building had the brief of producing an extension which the Planning department, and particularly, Northern Ireland Environmental Agency architects would find acceptable. The aim of the extension was to create a living space which integrated a large kitchen and living/dining space. An earlier extension had some merit and we decided to double this as a means of retaining the character and scale of the original building.
