The RSUA Award-winning CREST Centre (Centre for Renewable and Sustainable Technologies) for South West College in Enniskillen was completed in 2016.  The project is one of the most sustainable projects in the UK and Ireland and is the first educational building to achieve the following three sustainable credentials:-

  1. Passivhaus Certified for ultra-low energy efficient building fabric and ventilation system.

  2. BREEAM Excellent in terms of the BRE sustainable benchmark for UK and Ireland commercials buildings.

  3. Zero Carbon, this means that the building can provide all its required energy from on site generated renewable energy.

The CREST Pavilion is a building that showcases the latest sustainable technologies through the building itself. The Pavilion is designed with classrooms and a lecture space  and functions as a Passivhaus School. The building will teach and engage industry through experiencing new sustainable technologies and materials allowing for a deeper engagement and understanding of sustainability.
