Criteria: This dwelling is located on an elevated site with tremendous views over Belfast Lough and beyond. The site is sloping with mature trees on all sides. Our clients’ aspirations were that the new dwelling should be a period home and look as if it had been 'on the site for at least 100 years. 
The timeless look of this classically inspired home evokes an air of solidity and formal grandeur. Within the building, the space is light and open with a complexity of plan which incorporates all modern conveniences. High ceilings, classical detailing and a formal staircase add to the impression that the house is from a bygone era.
