Criteria: The redevelopment of an abandoned Mill created a unique opportunity to recreate the spirit of the original building. This scheme reconstructs the mill to the rear of the site with reclaimed material from the original building. The new mill building creates a focal point to the development and contrasts with the classically designed houses of the scheme to give context and meaning to the new development.
