PHAI board meeting Enniskillen Erne Campus

It's always a compliment to be described as the "Green-est Architect in Ireland".

For the past number of years, up until 2021, Paul McAlister had been the Chairman of the Passive Association of Ireland.

Having completed three years in this voluntary post I was ready to hand over to the new Chairman, Barry McCarron who now takes up the position of Chairman of the Passive House Association of Ireland.

The board very generously presented me with this award as a mark of my service to the PHAI over the years and I will continue to support the board in whatever way I can.

Always working to spread the word about sustainable living and adopting the Passive House methodology.

Accepting this special recognition award from the association at the newly completed Lough Erne Campus building, from members of the board, in August was humbling, to say the least.

The very best of luck to Barry McCarron who has taken up the mantle as chairman.
